Why is it difficult to think of an atmosphere behind its shores? Even when I close my eyes a month ago and think of Goa I will also think of the beaches - the blue pristine with golden sand and perhaps a bottle of Gao's favorite beer. However, my last trip to Earth changed everything. Here's the story of my blog at Travel on Goa off the coast.
VISIT A HERITAGE HOME
Goa is home to some very old Portuguese heritage houses, many of which have been found in this area for four centuries. These houses began to build shortly after the conquest of Goa by the Portuguese in the early 16th century and continued until the time they left in 1961. DIVAR ISLAND
The Mandufi flows through Goa and pours into the Arabian Sea near Panjim. The river is beautiful and surrounded by dense mangroves. Just before the river meets the sea, there is an island that has historically been a very important part of Goa.
PORTUGUESE HOUSES
When you walk a little in ancient Goa, it is easy to get addicted to its homes, especially those dating back to the Portuguese era. These houses have the most beautiful colors and textures, and very inviting as photography subjects. To reach there you can use Bike rental service provided here in Goa by RentMyBike.
LIVING WITH A FAMILY
Living with a Portuguese family in a Portuguese home would be perfect, but even if you live with a Polish-Indian family in a Portuguese home, the experience is amazing.
Anant and Ania are a lovely couple who are now bringing in a flight home, and they really love the place. They hosted us in a wonderful Portuguese villa they had recently hired and our experience was less than fantastic. Add to that the wonderful coffee that flows all day, the delicious baked candies around the clock, and I never wanted to leave Goa. Pick up your phone and call RentaBikegoa.
COFFEE AND FOOD
Wherever I go, I always look for the best coffee in town. The best coffee has two ingredients for me - a wonderful coffee tasting and an interesting ambience. Goa has many places that offer both.
I can recommend a few here:
A. Bodega
B. Urban cafe
C. Hotel Venite
D. Baba coffee
E. Coffee Haven

SATURDAY NIGHT MARKETS
The myth about Saturday night markets is fairly interesting. About a decade ago, there was a German idea, and the land was leased from a man from Goan and started this market. When the lease expired, Goan decided to keep the market but dropped the German. So as not to give up, another market began to be kicked out again. The Saturday night market in Anjuna is his third attempt and it is certainly done very well.
